Dunno about a NOVA bias, but I have also been in some sticky situations, even if unintentional - on the toll road, doing about 65, the asshat in the lane next to me decided to change lanes, sans blinker, doing about 50... 10 minutes later down the toll road, same thing happens again with an escalade 
Only had one person yell at me from their pickup while the top was down, but couldn't hear them over my tunes

My dad strongly encouraged my to get my motorcycle license before my car license and I'm glad he did. Being in control of a bike gives you a totally different perspective on driving. I admit sometimes when I'm in the S, I know it's a superior car (especially in my little city 
) but I also need to keep the ego in check and remember not to be as much of an asshat as the other drivers out there.

I don't think you'd ever see that kind of conduct in this area, because we're all rednecks, and too many of us have carry permits.
About 25 years ago I actually had a guy draw down on me in bumper to bumper traffic. Pretty scary!
