Rippled seal on windshield
The windshield seal on my roof top, has ripples (2) which is one more than a month ago. Anyone else have this problem? I', sure it could lead to leaks in the future if I don't fix it.

I have one ripple, which I created in Asheville. The car was sitting in the sun, so the rubber was soft and pliable. I was cleaning the windshield, wiped a cloth over that spot, and distorted it. I thought it would settle back into place, and it has, but only partially. But so far there's no problem with leakage, and I doubt there ever will be.

Apparently many Hondas develop these ripples. When I noticed in one in my windshield seal, I took the car to my dealer. He told me the best way to deal with it was to take a business card and slide the corner of the card under the ripple while applying downward pressure on the seal with the other hand. Demonstrated it for me and the ripple disappeared!!
He did offer to replace the whole seal however, if the ripples kept reappearing. Nothing so far!

I had one that would appear every now and again. Then when I would take it to the dealer, it would be gone. . .mostly during the colder months. . .I noticed.
But hey, I live in North Carolina. . .it rarely gets colder than 30 degrees. . .
I now feel an overwhelming sensation to check on my car in the garage! Thanks!
