Paypal isn't all that safe either...
A friend/acquaintance of mine lost over $5000 using Paypal. The whole story is long enough I won't sit here and type it out, but the short is he bought parts, used paypal, never received said parts, Pay Pal helped out in no way. Police did little, CC company had issue w/ pay pal, Pay Pal didn't stand behind their claims, now he is in the middle of suing paypal from what I know.
Every situation is different, but i got burnt once and never again.
Anything on the interenet is buyer beware.

I would go to Carbondale seeing as I live Close~KC~, but I think the proper channels are probably the best. Last thing I need is a charge for beating this guy w/ your console... Then the police come, I go to Jail, and you still never get the console because I broke it over his head!!

day1si- Thanks, bro- I got a few PMs from some other s2ki dudes in the KC area, who were also willing to pay a visit to this lowlife on my behalf.

The console is now in my posession, but I can't thank you guys enough.
