Default Ripped Off (Again) Buying S2K Parts

Well, the money wasn't that much, only a couple of hundred, but I'm sick of getting ripped off and doing nothing.

I bought an '04 center console from e-bay on Feb. 19th. The seller sent me an e-mail with his address, and I sent him a money order. I have the receipt for the money order, and he posted on e-bay that he received my payment. At the time I bought the console, the seller had 100% positive feedback.

I e-mailed him and sent messages via ebay asking what was taking so long, and he said his bank held the money order for 5 days. I still received nothing, so I sent him an e-mail stating that if he didn't respond, I was going to report on ebay that I didn't receive the merchandise. He never answered my e-mail, and I filed the report. I have not left any feedback, yet.

He is not responding to my e-mail, and I have recently obtained his phone number, but haven't called yet.

It's been almost 2 months since the purchase. What do you guys think I should do next?

I'm going to call him, but if he says, "What are you going to do about it?", I should have something to say.

-Pete

The e-mail that I sent to the seller is in BLUE.

I won the bidding for this S2000 center console. I will get a money order today for $217.50 ($192.50 + $25.00 shipping), but I will need your mailing address ASAP to send it. Please pack the item carefully with bubble wrap inside the box to prevent shipping damage. Thanks!

Two Words.....

Police Report.....

If you know where he lives....file a police report with his local police office. You can also file a complaint with the FBI computer crimes division if you feel like it. Since you sent through the mail you may be able to file with the postal inspectors office. If complaining won't help the police will

people dont like paypal because they can cause problems. But if you have a GOOD credit card company behind the paypal account, it will save you many issues. I had a guy punk me for ~$80. Dont even remeber what it was now.....called up the CC company and the paypal charges were reveresed the next day....

hope you get your money back, dont back down!

Oh, hell yea, I feel like it.

Police report, FBI report, Postal Inspector- that's what I'm talking about!

Even if it doesn't help, I want to do it. I hate thieves!

I'll try to make contact again with the seller to avoid this, but he hasn't been cooperative, so far.

Thanks!!

Just offering my good services as a newbie around here. Can be difficult at times esp when trying to get help (info). Some day newbies will not be treated like they are 2.
