Default The right start ?

Well hello,

since im kinda noob to pull a perfect start ( no i dont own a s2000, but this is kinda all car related..)

How should i do it?

lets say, foot on the clutch and 1st gear, revving up to 3000 and then release the clutch?

or

foot on the clutch, no gear, revving to 3000 and then pull in 1st gear and release the clutch..

or

No foot on the clutch, no gear, revving to 3000 and then release the accelaration pedal.. and putt it in first gear. t hen get your revs back and right away start ( fast moves )

Help me ;p

thnx

You can just drop the clutch fast, or you can slip it out, depending on car.. what are you trying to launch?

well 3rpm is not a perfect start, is for beginner because I always rev to 3rpm because I'm slow on the clutch release that it gets to 3rpm. Now I'm more like 1.5rpm. I try to release and gas slowly lightly so your RPM won't go that high and by that time the clutch engagement hit it will be start there. I always compare to automatic when u gas it goes up to like 2rpm to go.

I say shift it like any other stick shift. It's not rocket science.

are you trying to learn to drive smoothly, or to launch a car correctly?
