Rick's "S" Badges... apply..remove..reapply!!!!
It bothered me that I put my front "S" badge on wrong by about 5 degrees... noticble at 5 feet or less to me and others. Tonight, during our meeting, some comments were made my car looks great except the crooked emblem :-(
I have a spare emblem, and planed to use it-- BUT, I took out the handydandy hair drier, got it good'n'hot... pealed away, repositioned.. and its perfect now! I didn't need to use the spare emblem at all! The current one suffered NO bad effects from being pulled off, and is still as sticky as it originally was!
<-- Very impressed,
Aaron

now i have to fix it since everyone knows!!!
you really have to be looking closely to notice.
will try the hair dryer technique, as i have heard it before.
the badges also come off pretty easily without the hair dryer, you just have to be careful getting an edge.
thanks for posting the tip!

Getting them off was easier than I expected.
Here's EXACTLY what I did:
First, I Heated the entire emblem up with a hairdrier on FULL for about 3-4minutes.
...then looked around for some dental floss to get underneath the emblem.. couldn't find any..wait, here's some... crap, can't get under it.
...embled was still hooot. Looked around, found a small thin flat-head screwdriver, decided against using it-- afraid of causing paint damaged.
So, I got out my trust 3 1/2" knife (Very sharp and thin), carefully slid it under 1 corner w/out digging into the paint, then used my fingernail to lift it..slowly pulled it back--FULLY expecting to distort or destroy the emblem. This wasn't the case.
With the emblem off, I repositioned and applied. That was it, piece of cake.
