Rick's Header and Fujitsubo Exhaust just installed
Just installed the Rick's Header and Fujitsubo Exhaust and I can tell you I like it ALOT!. First, both are quality pieces as stated in previous threads. Install was a breeze. The Rick's Header was 8.5 lbs lighter than the stock header and definitely adds some bling.
When I started her up, I thought something was wrong cause the car was so quiet. Nope... I got exactly what I wanted: Looks good, quiet, and better performance. Did I get better performance?
I did not get a baseline dyno, and I have not gone to the dyno yet either. It is too hot to really pull any numbers right now (105-115). What I can say is that the exhaust note is deeper, but seems quieter than the stock exhaust when driving around. When I punch it, I can definitely tell there is more low and mid-range power now. The car pulls pretty well in 5th gear from 40 MPH. This is the true sign though IMO: When the Vtec engages, there is less of a dramatic exchange in power than when the stock exhaust was on. The power seems already there and the car seems to be pulling harder before Vtec engages.
I can't wait to put the CT supercharger on in a few weeks!

Hey Silverstone 05 buddy
I came across this post while researching which header to order along with the fuji exhaust I plan on ordering tomorrow.
Glad to hear you like the setup.
Post some pics to help me in the wait for mine to arrive,
I'll be in vegas next weekend, I'd love to ask for a ride so I can see what I'm getting into here but I'll be too busy celebrating my g-friends b-day and wining (read losing) money.
I'll post my impressions into this thread when I get mine, two reviews are better than one...
Enjoy the new toys!

Score a cat-delete before you go with the S/C. The SC will destroy the stock cat after 10K miles (if you like to rev high). And say goodbye to quieter than stock.
