I just installed the textured one...and i swear my car has like 6 more hp now...
but seriously... you really can tell a difference in the shorter throw distance

Thank goodness! I hate that my black textured one was stolen! I've had oem, pistol grip, pearl aluminum, and black textured. Definitely textured for me. Not only is it different and, well, textured, it also seems to cool/warm faster to the touch. That could be all in my head, but I'm in- again.






Added: Just saw someone received his, so I ordered two textured ones.

 

i like the polished but does it get hot in the sun?

 

they all get hot in the sun. you could purchase or fabricate a 'knob sock' if it concerns you.

 

But a beer coozi(sp?) works just as well!
