It could just be a removable strip that you wrap around the strap and secure with velcro.

Nope, I think that's a good idea!!

Not sure if leather is necessary for something like that, though. A black canvas cover may be better in this particular instance. *shrug*

 

Some of these things will have to await delivery of my S2000 (only a few days away, now, I hope). It's just too difficult to work out designs when I have to always rely on the good graces of Sam_S2K, 1Randyc, and other generous owners.
