This used to be a problem for me as well. I found it easier just to leave it in neutral and have a friend push from the front while you steer. Otherwise, don't park it where you have to reverse.

I have that same problem - can't find reverse. I even looked for it by 7th gear. But it's okay, I usually have my personal valet with me at all times to take care of backing up... You guys mean to tell me that when you bought your S the dealer didn't throw in a personal valet? Must be a So Cal thing -
