just to keep you guys updated, I printed up this thread and had my neighbor help me out. We were able to get the white lights on in the back...but the car now movies realy slow (feels like the reverse gear does not want to work) and it sounds like the clutch is burning when it is engaged in reverse...

With an S2KI age of almost a year, I'd say that's a good bet. Otherwise, he'd know that reverse is just below 7th gear.

And the burning smell going slow in reverse? That's because you started the car with the defroster on. To get rid of the problem, you'll have to fill your gas tank up with diesel fuel.
