Fuel cut-off (rev limiter) is 200rpm over designated red-line.

You didn't overrev unless you used the engine to drag the car beyond 9K. If you were rev-matching, and you redlined the car without it in gear, then you were just bouncing off the red limiter.

When the rev limiter kicks in, the tach blinks.

Please, take your time getting used to the car.

Floor your car in a low gear, and you'll see what the rev-limiter does.

Please, take your time getting used to the car.

Dont "test" your rev limiter by down shifting into the red zone. If you over do it you can cause some serious damage to your valve train which you wont be able to control . Especially on AP1's. AP2s have lil more protection. If you do it on acceleration it will prevent you from doing any damage by cutting the fuel off. Truthfully... you should NEVER down shift were it will put you in the red zone. Keep down shifting into the red and you wont have the car for "another" week.

If you just shift right before the redline, then the rpm wont go too far passed the redline especially if you have a lightweight flywheel AND you wont have to worry about any rev-limiter stuff. Therefore you will have problems.
