AUGUST 22, 2001 UPDATE
I just got back the test results of the second engine oil analysis I have had performed by Titan Laboratories of Denver, Colorado, on my 2000 Honda S2000.
Background
I purchased the car new from the dealer on March 31, 2000 with 9 miles on the odometer. Of course, at that time, it had the factory fill oil and the Honda OEM Oil filter.
On July 13, 2000 with 3,730 miles on the odometer, I had the factory fill oil changed to Mobil 1 10W-30 Synthetic Oil and the Honda OEM Oil Filter replaced with a Mobil 1 High Efficiency Oil Filter.
On April 3, 2001 with 6,530 miles on the odometer, I had the Mobil 1 10W-30 Synthetic Oil changed to Red Line 10W-30 Synthetic Oil and the Mobil 1 High Efficiency Oil Filter replaced with a Canton/Mecca 6.25-inch Spin-on Oil Filter Housing with an 8 micron 4.62-inch replaceable filter element. The 4 ounce engine oil sample was taken at this time and mailed the same day to Titan Labs.
On August 14, 2001 with 9,631 miles on the odometer, I had the Red Line 10W-30 Synthetic Oil replaced with fresh Red Line Synthetic Oil of the same viscosity. A 4 ounce engine oil sample was taken at this time and mailed the same day to Titan Labs. The Canton/Mecca Replaceable Filter Element was not replaced at this time as it remains well within its service limits.
Although the results of the Titan Fluid Analysis confirmed that everything is o.k., I thought you might be interested to see the detailed results.
Here they are:
Maintenance Recommendations (Last Sample Only)

Interesting report. The numbers look pretty normal but I don't have a reference for a very high rpm engine. I would expect slightly higher deposits indicating some wear. Did they give you an expected baseline for a hipo engine?

No, Titan did not give me an expected baseline report for a high performance engine. I will use this first report as my baseline.
However, the next analysis will be based on a different brand of oil and a different brand of oil filter. I do not plan to switch oil brand or oil filter brand again since my research indicates that I am now using the very best brands of each available today.
So, you might say, the next report will become the true baseline.
