Default Compliment and Question

[QUOTE=Jwong77;25020548]Hello All,

I don't post much here, but I wanted to share the progress I made restoring the paint on my S2000. Its a Silverstone metallic and the previous owner may have used a can of spray paint (the rattle can kind) to paint the car. That rattle can paint job didn't last and started to flake off, thus I decided that it was time to take care of this issue with my S.

The body shop is owned by a cousin of mine and I was able to do some of the work when it came to disassembly, but I left the painting and bodywork to the pros.

Here are some pics of where it began to where it is today. We put on new oem head lights and tail lights since the originals were cracked. I haven't installed the badges yet, nor have I applied PPF. Those are my next steps, and I'm aware of the need to wait for the fumes to dissipate

This looks fantastic, you did an awesome job!!!

What is that motor or device in the first couple of pictures that is to the right of the radiator as you look at the pictures?

Thanks! I think that device is the secondary air pump. I see alot of chatter about people disabling it when it breaks.
