My S2000 fits like a glove. My S2000 fits like an old, comfortable, well loved shoe.

That totally sucks. Did you ever consider getting a job to pay for your own car? I mean the S2000 is at most $500/month.
The miata can be found in that price range it's like 1/2 of a S2000 for 1/2 of the price.

Sorry to hear of your loss. That's a tough one. I considered buying the SHO at one time. The engine is sweet but the rest of the car is Ford and I changed my mind. I bought a Nissan Maxima instead and I can say without reservation its the best car I've ever owned. I still have it twelve years later (it's a '90) and I still think it's wonderful. In fact, I'm buying another one for my daughter this weekend. There are chips and speed stuff available for it as well.

sorry to sound like I was picking on you. I was in college and had to drive what most people would call a beater. I am old school. You started by saying your dad lost some money so you had to sell the S2000 so I thought you were a non-worker. I get a little steamed when some young kid's parents buy them a car and then they complain if it is not the coolest car at school.
I went to college (4) + med school (4) + residence (4) that's 12 years without my dad buying me a car. It's tough driving economy cars, but a lot of things come first. I would say to get a reliable car first. High performance cars like the SHO could mean high repair bills. Like I said a miata can be found for not much money or maybe a civic or accord. You can always get a S2000 later in life when you have a better job.
