For those who are using a d-seal for window weather stripping on their replica hardtops, does the window pinch the top when rolled all the way up or does the seal completely sit inside of the car and just lean againt the window?

I tried installing this myself (hardtop assembled on car) and unfortunately created too much of a gap between the window and the hardtop. Im sure it could also be the hardtop itself being a replica which may have inconsistent geometry.

I have tried searching on the forum and could not find exactly what im looking for..
