Just installed the hood, couple of problems though
1. The roof is super super tight. Took alot of pushing to trap it down. Hopefully as it is strapped down it will losen???
2. The roof and door rubbers dont seem to line up. See the picture below??
3.What do you do with the surpluss fabric at the back of the window, shown in pic below??
4. At the back of the window near the main soft top post there is a gap, is this normal??

I am purchasing a used top attached to the frame, and plan on taking my torn top off with the frame. How much easier / more difficult is this?
Is it hard to get the new frame to line up as well as the OEM?

Can you clarify more about how the rear flaps wrap around the two rear bars?

badass write up, greatly appreciated. Install was very simple, took about 12 hours with about 4 trips to autozone for rivets and washers, so I guess about 8 hours of actual work with my friend helping.
Only thing is, how in the hell do you get the roll bar trim back in? the rear tray and side trip parts look like they dont even belong there at all. Can someone help me with this please.

dayum! nice write up...
I gotta say, that install looks like a major PITA!!!
If I was faced with doing this, I would probably instead delete the softop and go HT only.
