I can't count on both hands the number of times I've driven my S in the rain in the last month.

I try not to drive the S if hail or severe thunderstorms with rotation are predicted, like happened yesterday. First time this season weather affected vehicle choice.

Hit 150k miles on odometer on drive to work this AM. Not getting any younger. Need to enjoy driving it while I'm still able to.

My wipers are the original ones. They are 17 yrs old, but still work fine. I hate driving my S with the top up, but it when rain the starts to fall too hard you have no choice.

As far as I know mine's never seen rain in 64,000 miles and 19 years. It nearly failed its last roadworthy check because the washer nozzle tubes are blocked up through lack of use. I really should do something about that.

As stated the stock sizes are 16+20 (D,P).

I have used 18,20 in the past but no matter the style of blades, the edge of the passenger side doesn't make proper contact all the way. So this time I am going to try 19 for the passenger side. I think this combo is just the right size to fit within the windshield visible zone.

I have tried more expensive wipers in the past, $8 Rain-X weatherbeaters lasted 1yr or 10k miles for me before streaking slightly.

I am going with these Aero ones from amazon this time around. I am going to keep switching out blades till I find ones that I like best. the cost of refills is not that much cheaper and certainly easier to install the full blade.

Amazon Amazon

Update: Don't get these! even the 19" for the pass side is not curved enough to make full contact. Maybe I'll got 18 both size next time.

I'm running those aero ones. They shudder across the windshield after being used for a few minutes. Doesn't bother me much as I don't drive the car in the rain much other than when I get caught out.

that usually has to do with the blade angle rather than the rubber. Did you try twisting the blade to adjust so that it sits properly across the glass (you can figure out which way to twist by seeing if the sudder on the up swing or down.

I've been using Bosch blades lately. Its a losing battle in the northern climes if you drive through the winter, (not applicable to the S).

I also used a shorter one for the passenger side, the original size from honda is to big in my opinion. It makes no contact to the windshield on the edges.
The next smaller size is just fine.

The larger blades may not make contact with the edges but the shorter ones aren't going to wipe there either and I like the look of the wiper blades being the same size.
