the only way i can see it being done for under 1k dollars, is if you go to the local talor shop to custom make one for you. IE: cut the plastic off the rear and somehow custom make a piece of glass and fit it right. i am sure it could be possible, but doubful. if you put a piece of glass there, how can the glass fold? take a look at how small the 02 glass is in order to make it work and fold right.

Due to vandalism, I have changed out my 01 top for an 02 with a glass window, I will try as hard as I can to get pics posted this week.
Keep in mind, it was the cost of a new top, and labor to have an experienced upholstery shop to perform the necessary modifications to the frame and 02 top to get it to work and installed.

asked my dealer about it before i bought my S2000 (arrived yesterday! woopee!!), would have baught an '00 Silverstone, but he told me if i wanted a glass window i would have to replace the whole top, motors, window, everything. it would cost a couple thousand dollars. just get an '02 =)
