Default Replacing the convertible top

I need to change the top on the S2000. Does anyone know how much it will cost (top plus install)?

Thanks.

if warranty hadn't covered it, it would have run me 3000.

took a 15 year honda tech 19 hours to install it. 1 week in real time.

There are guys on these boards who can install in less time. 19 hrs sounds crazy.

At one time I was quoted 1800.00....I am getting a HT for the same price.

You have to gut the entire car. everything from teh dash back has to come out..Seats, roll bar covers, center console. and I work with Tony he's an awesome tech, i'm sure he could do it faster but he'd never done one before...and a good amount of time is making sure nothing leaks...he said there are TONS of things you can adjust. Roof alignment (left, right, forward, back, up, down, diagonally) window angle. all the moving parts of the roof. it was wild.

Really? lucky you

the main issue on mine was a rear plastic trim piece that had to come out (not top tray) and didn't look like it could come out without taking out the trip piece on top of it...and the piece on top of that..and the piece that one was connected to ect. ect.

If your talking about the soft top replacement it should be between $600 - $800. Anything else is a rip off.

^^That price I believe is just for the top....He also wants to know how much with installation if he was to pay some place to do it for him.
