Default Replacing battery

I have an 02 s2k with a dead honda genuine battery in it from 04. i guess the previous owner got a new one.

anyways, its says it has a 60 month (5 yr) warranty on it.

can i take it to honda and get a free replacement?

probably a stupid question. not sure if it is / is not expired in 09 anyways.

this is probably a stupid answer, do you have the receipt. my guess would be the the receipt is your warranty card for battery. I don't know, check with your honda service center.
