Replacement strobe led brake light bulbs?
I did some searching and wasn't able to find anything in the forums discussing this and I posted
in S2000 electronics and got no replies so I thought I'd try here next.
Has anyone replaced their brake light bulbs with strobe led brake light bulbs on their S?
I've been doing some research and it seems like a lot of them will throw codes and other issues.
If so, what brand did you use and have you been happy with them and what issues have you had?
Thanks for reading!

Most strobe bulbs are eBay junk. You won't get any codes for bulbs, the only issue people have is hyperflash on the blinkers which is remedied with a simple blinker relay change.
I made some PnP modules for my tail lights to give me the strobe effect on all 3 lights when the brakes are depressed. Wasn't the cheapest route, but it's the proper way. Also using LED bulbs in place of the incandescent, but quality ones.
I used Philips 7443 LED bulbs in place of the brake light bulbs on my car (AP1).
I then bought 3 flasher modules that have the simple 4 quick flashes and then solid pattern vs the standard 4 fast flashes and 4 slow flashes that seem to be common for LED flasher modules.
Lastly I bought the appropriate male/female connectors to be able to tie the flashers into the circuits via a jumper harness instead of cutting the factory wiring.

i just did the strobe brake light on the 3rd brake light, dont feel a need for all the lights to blink. the third brake light is bright enough to catch the attention of others on the road or track
