Include a note that they are defective and that you want them replaced with the new model. And make sure they are defective

We'll begin taking new orders at the end of next week.
xviper,
Basically, they were made of two sections, which were glued together. The joint was crude and the glue holding the two sections together tended to melt in the heat. They were anchored to mesh in the seat-top hole with a wire tie, which was unattractive and didn't do the job. And the quality of sewing was erratic. But they looked pretty darn good, as long as they stayed together or stayed put in the seat-top hole. Other than those minor problems, they were great .
The new versions are all sewn together (no glue) with a zipper in the back for insertion of the foam, and a foolproof (and invisible)way to anchor them to the seat back, which fixes them solidly in place and also makes them easy to remove. All the leather pieces are die cut, which make the hand sewing on them easier to do and thus of higher quality. They look great, and the quality is a huge improvement.
The first ones will be delivered today, so I'm hoping people will post some pictures.
