Default Replace Windshield with Hardtop Installed?

My windshield needs replacing (it's cracked)... I have an OEM hardtop installed with Izzy style brackets...so removing the hardtop is a bit of a PITA...

I am assuming that the windshield can be replaced with the hardtop installed... Can anyone confirm?

Long story but Ive had my windshield replaced twice in the past 3 months and you'll be fine. I have a hardtop as well but top up,down,or hardtop is irrelevant for a windshield replacement. I only recommend to stick with oem eventhough its more money due to my shit experience with an aftermarket window recently..

You shouldn't need to....but removing 4 screws is a PITA? It probably took more time to make this post...

You obviously don't has a HT with Izzy's brackets. Its more than 4 bolts, let alone alignment when putting it back on. Lot more required vs OEM latch system.

While the process is not super complex (I'll give you that)... I stand by my PITA statement...

With the one piece Izzy Bracket, I have to take apart the interior panels on both sides (door sills, back/side panel) to get to the bolts, then carefully lift off the roof and put it somewhere safe (in a crowded garage)... Then I gotta do it all over again to put the roof back on...

Not complex academically...but still counts as a PITA in my book...
