renting an S2000?
#21
I rented one at Rent A Vette in Las Vegas: http://www.rent-a-vette.com/car-rental-rates.html
I decided to rent one when I was out there because before I wanted to spend the money on buying one...what else would be better than spending 24 hrs with an S2000. Las Vegas provided a great area for driving in traffic or taking it out in the desert....which I did ...took a few twisties at Red Rock Canyon. Which is fun because you pay like $5 and it's one way...no oncoming traffic..you can use the whole road!
The only thing is that you break it, you buy. The insurance option they offer is very minimal. They had a Silverstone that was out of commission because a client "misshifted" it and bent the valves on the car. Guess what....he's a new owner of an abused "RENTAL S2000"
Becareful, when you rent these cars....you might end up owning it if you screw it up somehow. A simple misshift in high RPM can earn you the car too.
Here's a photo of me at redrock witht the 'rental'.
