Default Removing emblem on stock rims

Has anyone removed the Honda emblem off the center of the stock rims?

I'd like to remove it off of the center cap. I'd like to keep the stock rims but w/o out the emblem. If that isn't possible w/o damaging the rim can you buy plain center caps?

I don't think there is a way of removingit off center cap unless you buy a alloy looking center cap sticker and stick it on top of the center cap. IMHO, the H looks hot on the rims!

If its just painted on, maybe try some brake cleaner to take it off? You'd end up stripping the clearcoat though.

I've never tried this and haven't read about anyone else who has done it. I'm not even sure what the centercaps are made of. I'm with AsianQ, I like the Honda emblem on the centercap.

Try using 50/50 APC and water. But don't dilute the solution as it may mess up your rims. So use a toothbruth or semething. Or you can always get Ricks signature caps if you don't like the H.

I saw a thread about this a while ago, it was easily removed w/ Mineral Spirits I believe. You need to take the rims off and pop the center cap out from the back and yes, you need to re-clear them after you are done.

They posted pictures, IMHO I didn't like it, made the naked center cap look huge?! But to each their own

APC won't work because it's not a sticker - it's painted and then a few coats of clear are added

Thanks for the info. I've changed my mind I will go for Rick's S caps. Thanks.
