Default Removing Adhesive from Windshield Tape

Well, I removed the windshield tape last night (and damn do my fingers hurt). I was wondering what people have used to get the left over "gunk" from the tape off. Any help would be much appreciated!

I just rubbed it with my thumb and it came off. Mind you, I only had about an inch of goo...

Lick it off. Your taste buds will provide a scrubbing action while gentle to your paint.

Thanks Rashed. I knew that you would have the right answer for the problem.

What do you guys mean by windshield tape? What exactly is it (besides the obvious "tape that's around your windsheld"), and why take it off?

Ryan, go to the auto parts store and buy some Xenit or Tarminator by Stoner It should deal with the left over adhesive in no time. Try to minimze leaving the stuff on the paint for too long and when you're done give it a good coat of wax.
