I just bought a used 04 that has both OEM lip and wing. Thinking of removing both. Wrt the lip does anyone know if the paint on the front bumper (underneath / behind the lip) would be damaged from the install of the lip? If I take it off am I going to need to repaint?

did a search and couldn't find any info on this.

I think the oem's have a rubber gasket around them so u may not need to anything but the best way is to pull it off and see whats under it

 

Do you wanna sell the lip?? If so, what color is it???

 

If the paint underneath the lip isn't damaged then I will sell it. Its RIO yellow.

I had an OEM lip on the car for about a year and nicked the center on a parking block . Took it off and sold it there was o no damege or scrapes on the bumper

Put a Mugen lip/splitter on the car after that, took it off and there was some marks left behind from the Mugen lip/splitter. They do not use any protection on the Mugen and the OEM has double sided tape and the gasket thingy between the lip and bumper.

 

I want to buy both the wing and lip. please let me know. THANKS
