I went to the car place that was trying to sell it. The car is really not that bad. It has some major work done to the car. Vortech SC, headers, muffler, and some other stuff. It had a Veliside kit on it minus the hood. I thought that it was ugly though. The car is perfect for someone who wants a fast S2000 without doing the work. If the car didn't have a Velside kit it would have been perfect.

i meant when it went on ebay a couple fo months ago. the guy, who was familiar with S's but hadn't been involved with this site, then started a couple of threads flaming everyone who was goofing on his ebay listing.
there's nothing wrong with trying to sell a car and making a couple of bucks, but the BS about never leaving the showroom and having so many miles was over the top. the kicker was the price... it was just absolutely ABSURD.

Yea, now I remember, he said that the car was just sitting there. But you know what, I don't think that the car does leave the showroom floor. It's in the same place that it was when he took that picture.

Yeah, mods do not appreciate when it comes to resale values, but if you could find a buyer who's looking to get the mods that you've done, then it's very easy to sell. Hell, I wouldn't mind putting $30K out to have that car, with a supercharger, nice set of wheels, etc. etc. All those would add up much more than $30K if I was to do the same to my car, which I do plan on getting an FI and nice wheels.
