Refinished seats?
I'm picking up my new S that has all black interior... I really like the two tone black/red combo so I am planning to have the center sections of my seats redone in red leather.
Is there anything I should know before moving forward?

most of the custom upholstering i've seen on the S2000 hasn't had desirable results. the leather looks kinda loose. not as tight fitting on the seat as OEM, and the leather doesn't look as high quality. maybe you should look into trading seats with someone who has red/black?

Check with Johnson's Trim Shop at W street and Mobil Hwy. They've been there forever and should have no problem meeting your demands.
Here's a strange fact. I traveled an extra 100mi. to get my new S because I didn't want the red/black interior, I wanted all black.

Send an IM to Cyclon36...he sells Katzkin replacement leather. He should be able to help you get the look you want for a decent price. If you get the original Honda leather, you will pay an arm + leg.
You might consider getting new foam seat panels so long as you are there...especially if your driver seat is showing wear on the outboard bolsters (which is common). The new foam for the seat portion is about $300 from Majestic Honda.
New leather + foam will make your seats look like new.
