Default Record Time For Secret Compartment Discovery

I have owned my S2K for 4 1/2 years now. It is almost paid off. I discovered the secret compartment today. I read the posts joking about it and wrote it off as being a myth about the obvious box between the seats as everyone I know has climbed into my car and immediately said "There is no storage box anywhere." Well, there is. More than even I knew.

So my question is: Who has taken the longest to discover this box?

I have set the bar at 1,677 days. Or if you prefer I have over 50,000 miles driven.

I feel like such a noob and await the wrath as it is well deserved. I can only hope there is someone more blind than I am.

Hahahaha, good thread! I found mine by accident during the first week of ownership. Now, the GAS door release.....that's a different story. Hahaha, THAT SUCKED!! Took forever. At the gas station for what seemed like forever, but was only like 16-20 minutes.

The woman I bought my car from had it for 46,000 without knowing about it. She said it didn't come with an owners manual, when I opened the secret compartment there it was.
