Get on an airplane, man. I am sure there are plenty to be had for MSRP within 1000 miles. A one way ticket would probably cost no more than $100 and the drive back will take care of those boring break-in miles.

For those that are new here I'll post my thoughts on MSRP once again ( sorry seasoned car shoppers). A dealer has three ways to make money, the least of which is on the actual car sale. The big bucks are in trade ins and finance. So unless your paying cash....any thoughts about MSRP are ABSOLUTELY meaningless! I grew up next to the owner of the largest Toyatoa dealer in the US (Longo Toyota, CA.) back in the 70's....and this is one lesson I learned well from Mr. Longo.

Yes, dealers make lots of money on trade-ins, finance as well as other things like warranties, service, etc. And as we all know, they will gladly rip you on all these things!
Each of these add-on services needs to be examined separately so that rational decisions can be made.
Paying an unnecessary $1500+ "dealer tax" is anything but meaningless. All is does is make you poorer.

pay for the car w/o any forced options...(of course, then you
have to sell off the trade-in yourself... )
