The shape of the vent is similar to the Amuse CF hood, but the location of the vent is much higher than the Amuse hood. It looks like the vent is directly above the engine block. If it is, isn't that a bad thing if it rains?

 

The cutout looks like the one you make in the stock hood to clear the Mugen CAI.

I believe 4IGS2000 tried to set something up, but the vendor in Japan is very reluctant to ship it out here given the additional shipping, packaging, insurance costs etc.

 

Why don't you guys just get the j's style hood from VIS they are good quality
