Rear plastic window replace
Has anyone replace the rear plastic window with a new one ???
Is it difficult to do so, or you just zip out the old and zip in the new ??

I'm not sure Chrysis is talking about replacing the plastic window with a glass window. I think the question might be is it difficult to replace an old plastic window with a new plastic window.

I just had my plastic window replaced last week. They do not change out the whole top. It is costly however, so if you have extra money you may want to invest it towards a glass window replacement or hardtop as someone else mentioned. I got offered a decent deal from Honda, so I went ahead and did the replacement. It is not a warranty item however, so they really didn't even have to make that offer.
Boy! It's great to be able to see out that window.

I had my rear window replaced about a year and a half ago, under warranty. The dealer had to keep it two days and spent many hours getting it right.
On the way home from the dealer I bought two black towels, one to go in the well under the window and one inserted into the fold when the roof is about 80% retracted. I've never lowered the top since then without the towels in place. My window is still perfectly clear and should remain that way for a long time.
I would probably use a Muz mat and roll, but I'm too lazy to get them.

So what is the possibility that the plastic window could be replaced with the glass one? Does the 2002 model differ in many ways to accomodate the glass?
My plastic window is doing fine, thanks to a pool noodle, towel and Plexus One. Pain in the ass, though. I would hope that Honda would give us some relief, even if we have to pay for it!
