Default Rear plastic window material

Does anybody know where I can possible get the plastic/viynl material from the rear window?

I'm planning to just cut out the broken window I have and just replace the plastic piece alone. I'm hoping this would be a cheap and temporary fix for my rear window. Right now it has tape running across it, and it looks like crap.

You can buy a new window. Cheaper than a complete top but still a fair amount of labor. Look here. Item 6. About $175.00 http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/j...=SOFT+TOP+CLOTH

Why can't I do this?

I'm doing this as just a temporary solution untill i purchase a whole new top this summer.

I'm just goin to cut out the broken plastic window, replace it with some clear plastic/viynl material. It'll be held im some place with some heavy duty adhesive. This will look a lot better then tape across the window.

also, you cant take out the window by just unzipping the zipper. I WISH it were that easy.

I'm planning on getting a new top with the glass window. For the amount of work required to switch out the windows, I might as well replace the whole top.

For now, I just need to know where I can get that plastic material. Or something similar..(clear/bendable/some what thick)

I've looked all around local stores(home depot, lowes, etc) and can't find anything suitable.

Check with automotive/boating/rv supply stores and businesses that do re-upholstry etc. A cheap plastic seat cover might work if their cheap enough and you can find them.
