Default Rear Plastic Window

Does the rear plastic window have a defroster? A lot of people mention that you have to do a lot of maintenance on the rear glass window to make it visible. What exactly does the rear plastic window require to be in top shape?

If I purchase a hardtop for the s2000 would I have to worry about the maintenance for the plastic window? Does the hardtop come with a defroster?

Thanks

Plastic: No defroster
Glass: Defroster

I have the glass one, and it does get dirty on the inside from when the top is folded

Hardtop does have a derfroster, and I'd still take care of the plastic window, why let it get ruined?

Visit your local motorcycle dealer and ask for a product called Plexus. It will keep your plastic window looking like new. It's great for cleaning plexiglass, too.
