Rear Glass window

Rear Glass window
I have a 2k S2000 that I keep spotless.
What's killing me is the plastic rear window.
I have inquired with my dealer about replacing
with either a glass window kit or a new roof. I
can't get anywhere with them regarding this and
I'm wondering if anyone has tried with any success.
Thanks

No kit is available, but you can replace the whole top. The dealer won't replace the top unless you pay for it. The dealer may replace your old plastic with new plastic, but don't get your hopes up since your car might now be out of warranty.
If you need a new plastic window I have one that is very good condition I'll sell to you for $25.

What do you do to maintain and protect it?
Plastic polish and scratch remover?
Plexus?
Roof well mat of some kind?
Static cling tint on the outside?
Anything? Mine's going into its 3rd year and I'm not dissatisfied with at all.

I'm almost sure you can easily put another plastic window on without replacing the top. If you want a rear glass window, you have to have the entire top & a kit installed. I think it's in the $1500-$2500 range. If you do a search, there's a lot of info on this. And as xviper said, maintaining that plastic window (as he taught me) is the key.
