What? Benz quality has gone to crap and they're fit and finish is definitely not what it used to be...so maybe you should say "It's not a Lexus." haha

This little bumper thing doesn't bother me at all....I was just wondering if I was the only one. Obviously not...I also didnt want to risk have the dealer scratch up the bumper trying to adjust it....I just know it would happen to me.

But the car is AWESOME. Can't wait to get my new hardtop

MY04 has the same problem and i think its a little worse. I looked really close at it and i believe the paint is scratched off on the top since i see black. The top corner in that area is actually rubbing into my taillights a little and i believe thats what caused it to scratch off some paint. Should i bring it to the honda dealer to have it checked out? Will they re paint my whole bumper? I dont like the thought of repaint because i think the repaint is much easier to chip/ crack. What do you guys think i should do? Hey V9 i borrowed a pic to just highlight which area i am talking about on my car. Hope you dont mind.

Thanks

John

hey no problem

Its funny my paint is chipped exactly where you circled too....just can't see it because my car is black. Body shop told me to just touch it up to prevent peeling. They didn't recommend an entire repaint because it would just happen again.

Looks like a common problem.

My MY05 is like that too. I took off most of the attachment clips and loosened the wheel-well screws and realigned it only to have it go back to the same mismatched position after a drive. I figure I'll try to align it again, but I'm not too worried about it right now. Good luck.

I have the same problem. Just bought my S two weeks ago. Paint has chipped off in that area and also on a small area on the other side of the bumper. It must be flexing alot back there?
