Asking? There was a question mark? Even a question? There certainly was an absurd, assumptive statement, but where's the question?

I live in the north part of Kansas City, there aren't too many S2000s up here - most of the owners in KC are in the south part of town. It's nice not seeing very many other S2000s - many people still ask what the car is.

Most of the s2k owners I've come across will wave or return a wave. I've had several stoplight conversations with s2k owners when I happen to pull up next to one. Actually it depends on what part of the city I'm in - the west side is more upper class richer people so there is a lot more civility. The east side is where you'll find the Fast and Furious kid who would rather flex his hormones than have a friendly conversation.

I guess it just really depends on the area. Around my house I flash and wave and have never gotten anything back. If I drive about 40 mins south west to visit my friends where there are more enthusiasts I almost always get a response, or the other guy flashes/waves first.

well i'm a young kid (21 now, got the car when i was 19) and every time i see another s2k a huge smile appears on my face and i get all giddy (highschool girl status? lol) i always wave or flash fellow s2k owners. the ones that usually don't respond are older guys (like 50+) and the once in a blue moon older ladies (50+).

This is a community
Correct THIS is a community, so is the S2K facebook group I joined that has planned get-togethers. Someone owning the same vehicle as you is not a community someone signed up for. Congratulations, you both happen to like sexy cars, that in no way obligates people to afford you anything . That said, I'd respond for sure, but honestly why does it matter if they don't? No reason to get hurt x.x
