Evertime I see a guy driving a Miata, there is another guy in the passenger seat, and they both have their shirts off with the top down. And we all know what type of guys those are. 
Same goes for every other roadster on the road right now, except the S2000. I know it sounds childish say except the S2000, but it's true. I've yet to see a sight like that in an S2000. But I bet your gonna say you've seen many! 
Miat's look cute, it's fact.
An S2000 looks like a shark that just spotted it's prey and it's gonna charge like hell at you and eat you up to your every last bone and suck them dry.
Miata, well, looks like it saw a pretty flower.
And I like the excuse the guy used in his first post. "Miata's show that the man is more masculine." HEHEHEHEHEHE

Looks pretty masculine to me...Yes, that's mine....
I love the S2000... I am destined to get one, once I have room(and money)... But, in all seriousness, The Miata is lacking a bit.. The overall look to me is nice... A LOT nicer than the MR2, and I would say the Miata and S2000 are in the same WOW factor.. There have been many times people see me driving down the street and think that my Miata's an S2000.. But... and I say BUT For the cost of a new Miata, you can throw in approximately $7000 in mods(header,intermediate pipe, dual exhaust, CAI, Supercharger+ SC accessories and a few other goodies) and you can get a decent Miata with about 200 HP at the wheels, right around where the S2000 is(at the wheels), and it would still work out to cost less than an S2000.. No disrespect, of course.. but The closest thing to an S2000 I have is my cousins which I borrow every so often, and the 1/24th scale model I built..

140 at the crank, about 105 at the wheels...not very much... Only engine mods I have so far is an intake, the rest are handling, interior or cosmetic mods I have on the car now... the other things I mentioned in the post above are coming soon....reaaaaal soon..

What others think of my car has never been a big factor in my decision to own it. If others think it's cute, ugly or whatever is of no consequence to me. The only validation necessary is to yourself.

All I gotta say in response to the above, is that if you are seeing guys with their shirts off in all roadsters (except the S2K), it must be cause that's what you are looking for. Hmmm. . .
