Mugen - light , well designed, strong but quality was not as good as I expected.

J's Type-V - not as light as Mugen but better finishing. Weave and clear coat is better.

Amuse - light and BlinG BlinG

C-West - the dry carbon one needs to be clear coated

ASM - pretty much same as Mugen.

Top Secret - Can't fit a strut bar with it

Personally, I like the J's Type-V better but when it rains , you better make sure you buy the under tray cuz it will make a mess.

I'm partial to the Amuse, which is what I chose. I can't afford the real deal, it's a lot to spend for a hood. Definitely some bragging rights there. Amuse is simple and just looks so nice on the car. it really accents the lines of the car so well.

The Kaminari is nice but requires an aftermarket exhaust which I'm not ready to change yet.

Where is the link for the ASM hood? I've never seen that one.

The Mugen hood is very nice........it's moving up on my list.
why would you need an aftermarket exhaust to use the kaminari hood? i don't see the correlation between exhaust and cf hood.

I know Seibon makes an OEM style CF hood. I'm not sure what the quality is, but maybe someone here has used them before.

My bad........I mean an aftermarket air intake because the Kaminari does not fit over the stock air box.

If you have the money get dry carbon. Otherwise all the knockoff's weigh the same or more than the oem hood already there. And it is there just for looks. I do have to say I love the Mugen one though.
