As you know mine was replaced or at least a good number of the internal parts. Dealer did suspect that the car was abused and I blamed it on the dealer - a different dealer - BARON Honda in Patchouge NY where I bought the car.

When I bought took delivery the car it had definately been on at least one prior test drive. There was about 15 miles on the car and I test drove the car fairly hard at this milage and long before break in.

The sales force all seemed to be familiar with the vtec surge and I got the feeling the familiarity came from driving my car though they only admitted to one previous customer driving the car and said it had only been in the showroom one week. In fact the idiots insisted that I test drive the car and rev it to red line. I even specifically asked about a break in period because I was so in love with her I knew she would be mine. The respose was that the car has no break in period and comes already broken in from the factory - WHAT BS

Too bad at the time I was not a member of this board and did not know about the break in period. I was rather pissed when I discovered the blurb in the manual about break in. Anyway all seems well afer the diff fix and the tsb 0055 and 0054 fixes. Perhaps your damage occured before you took delivery??
