re-painting brake calipers a different color.
I painted my calipers red with G2 caliper paint because I had black wheels, but decided to paint them black to match new gold rims. How do you repaint them? Do I have to sand the calipers down again?

All you really need to do is take a steel brush and remove any loose paint, than use some sandpaper to smooth it all out and rough up the surface so that the new paint will stick. Ckean the entire area to remove all grease, dirt and dust. Once that is done you can paint.

You might try a can of brake cleaner. First put some newspaper under the wheel because it will drip onto the driveway. Spray it and let it soak a few seconds, not too long because it evaporates quickly. Spray it again and just wipe it clean with a wash cloth. This should remove most of your red paint. It also does a perfect job of degreasing. Let it dry and repaint.
I suspect that epoxy paint or powdercoat would not come off with brake cleaner.
When repainting, try to avoid too much overspray onto the rotors.
As for the rotors, I like to brush away any rust with a steel brush, clean them with brake cleaner, and paint with high temp paint. I like the high temp Rust-o-leum BBQ paint. It is a flat charcoal black and holds up really well. Try not to spray too much into the front rotor cooling vanes. It might act as an insulator and affect the heat dissipation.

"I used the G2 brake caliper paint and put 4 coats on each caliper. I dont think it'll come off with brake cleaner. "
No doubt it would totally depend on the paint formula and possibly how long it's been on there.
It worked for me on some big brakes on my Titan. I took off some silver paint and repainted. The brake cleaner worked like paint remover. And, I trusted using it around the rotors because it is, well, brake cleaner.
