I need some new lugnuts to replace my Kyokugens.

After reading all this, what other options are there for lugnuts besides the Rays/Kyokugens?

I'm looking for some locks also that will fit CE28N's.

Thanks!

Uhm, I just picked up my CE28N's yesterday and the lug nuts that Volk USA provides with the wheels are a JOKE. They're chrome and heavy. I put two of the wheels on my floor and put a set of chrome lugs on one wheel and a set of black rays dura-lugs on the other wheel.

Sure, they're $100 US, but whatever, after spending $2k for the wheels, I don't see the big deal to make sure you complete the look properly.

I had a set of Kyokugens Strip. They rounded off so bad we had to cut them off . I use the lugs that came with my volk wheels now.

I had no problems with either the Spoon or Mugen Lugs. I don't believe the Mugen is lightweight though.

To be fair, a lot of folks also think it's a waste to drop $1000+ on audio equipment, but people do that too.
Dan, you are right. But I listen to my stereo, and use it (to the capacity intended) every time I drive. How many people get something or some kind of benefit from lug nuts???
Also, if speakers cost $10,000, then I might have not done my stereo. Proportionally, spending 100 bucks on lug nuts is just crazy, when a set of lugs is like 5-10 bucks online.
Anyway, I was wrong on the fact that it isnt my money, so by all means, get what you wish.

Wow, bad argument, want to see why? Ok, let's be right when we are going to throw out numbers. $100 for lugnuts is not that expensive. Go price out OEM lugnuts at your local Honda dealer. They cost about $50 to $75, not 5 to 10 bucks. Go price out lugnuts at your local wheel shop. They'll still run you close to $2.50 a lug. How do you not get benefit from your lugnut? It holds on your rim doesn't it? "To Capacity intended" why even throw that line in there? Using the lug isn't the capacity that it was intended?

You use/enjoy your stereo everytime your in your car. That is correct, but if you didn't spend the $1k on it, are you telling me that you couldn't listen to the OEM stereo that was included with the car? Your stereo is an upgrade, one that you chose to do, just like an upgrade on lugnuts is something someone else might choose to do. So your argument about it is really not valid and is gibberish IMO.

Let them buy them, it's freaking Lugnuts.

So, anybody, anti-seize compound?? Does it prevent corrosion due to metal-on-metal? Does it cook off and get brittle if you get your hubs hot from racing?
