rattling behind driver's left shoulder

mine's rattling when the top both up and down whereas if i drive over 80mph it disspears. But on local, it pisses me off. wtf is that coming from?

This may be a problem James Mullins found. The seat belt on the driver's side rubs on the leather where it goes through the guide on the seat top. It sounds somewhat like a rattle and it's very annoying. The fix is to squeeze a small piece of felt into the guide where it attaches to the seat, and leave a flap of felt between the seat belt and the seat leather.

yes, the "boot strap" problem is usually on the passenger side (but it can be on both). i have a black cork in the passenger side boot strap only.
