I have that as well, but it's the passanger sun visor.... next time try pulling it down, sound gone. I am going to get some rubber feet and put it on the visor... if you look, one side as it, but not the other, on each visor that is...

i have been trying to figure my problem out too! mine is more like a rumbling in the passenger dash board! like the whole dash is vibrating when i hit the reflectors on the road or certain bumps! i must get rid of it b/c its annoying and kinda embarrassing! i also had a rattling on pass side near door. i moved the seat belt metal peice and it seemed to go away!

As for number three- Try moving your passenger seat up one click on the rail. Or remove the (net) hook on the back panel behind the passenger seat. This should fix your problem.

Did that already
the hooks are gone, the seatbelt is buckled, and the seat is away from the bulkhead. In fact with the seat all the way forward, I still hear the rattle to my right rear...
I think its from the area of the "virtual" B/C pillar. I also think some of it might be the area of the top well. I dont know whats involved with removing the top (the body shop did it) and if they left something loose...
thanks for the tip though

My car developed a heavy knocking above 7000 rpm just today. The car was running great so I had to go through the gears a couple of times to listen to it. Happened in every gear and was very loud.
I was pretty sure what it was before I got home. I let the car cool and went after it.. tight quarters kept me from solving the problem for over an hour.. finally retrieved the oil filler cap that I lost at the track a month ago! Damn, I looked exactly in that spot when I lost it but didn
