Yea but our winter is ending soon. I'm just pondering if it's worth getting them for this winter. If I did have the extra money, winter tires would be no question in my mind.

Hey Ray-
I've been riding on Blizzak MZ-01's for 3 winter seasons now and have been very happy with the handling (assisted by 2 CMU's which fit nicely in the rear well
). I must say that they do not wear very well when driven on dry surface a lot. I was still able to get two new ones in Nov 02 from Firestone... cost was $350 for two (225/16) mounted/balanced, after a 10/% coupon. Good luck and keep safe!

The groundhog will be making his prediction in about 7 hours and 25 minutes. You may want to wait until then to decide if you should get the snow tires for this season.
