Default Random question about soft-top removal

Ok, just a thought. I love the S and someday hope to own one, but the big deterence for me is the lack of storage space. I'm also not a die-hard convertable fan. That being said, if one were to remove the soft top and put a hard top on full time, could the soft top bin be used for storage? Just a thought. Thanks!

You don't remove the soft top to put on a hard top. The soft top just folds down.

Definitely not the right car for you if you are worrying about storage space. Mind you I have no problem fitting my hockey gears in the trunk.

I am aware that you don't have to remove the soft top to put the hard top on. My question though is if one were to remove the soft top and leave the hard top on full-time, could you pick up some extra storage space?

munkee you should ask wesmatrer. He has done this to his car. You should be able to use that area for storage space.

Thanks! I'm not in a rush considering I don't have and won't have (anytime soon) an S, but it dawned on me this morning and I was curious.
