As I haven't been following this since the raffle, I just got a note from somebody asking who won. In trying to answer that I found this thread.

Hey, Congrats on the car. It is a good one. I would have kept it and got rid of our mini-van. Since my group was running the raffle, I didn't buy a ticket. Don't think that would have looked too good.

I'll tell you what, that raffle burnt out our crew. We're just starting to get our enthusiasm back. Still need to raise $70K for that Scout Hall. Long way to go.

Are you folks certain that someone bought that car? I looked at the link and while it does say that the auction is closed, it doesn't list any bidders.

I can't believe that no one bid on that car. Maybe they're thinking it's a "too good to be true" deal?

I must say that with the sentiment that it's a shame that the car didn't wind up with someone who'd keep it. Not that I begrudge anything to the guy who won it. I bought 5 tickets and had been saving for 2 years to get my S2000. It would have been SO cool to have won one that way. It doesn't really matter though. I got my car in June this year and to say that it's been totally sweet is a gross understatement.
