Default Radio Door Removal Question

Ive been searching around and everything says that i have to remove the center panel first to remove the radio door, but i was wondering if i could not remove to panel to get to the door. Also, how long is this installation?

just open the radio door and tug on it. That'll get the panel out. there are retainer clips up top, so the first time can be a little troublesome.

The door has hinges that need to be popped out. I would advise a wire clothes hanger; shove it in the hole from the inside to pop the hinges out. Also, watch for a circular spring; you need it for the new door. that can be a pain to put back in so that the door pops open, but it can be done. When the door and spring are situated, push the hinges in to the holes from the outside.

all in all <30minutes for the first time. <10min second time and after.

Just pull out the entire piece, it comes out real easy.. It will feel like you are breaking the Radio door, but dont worry you will be fine. Also, the installation should only take like 10 mins max.. the hardest part is taking out the pins and putting them in the new radio door..

You have to remove the radio housing, the thing with the vents above the radio door to remove the radio door. Use a drill bit to push the pins out, a coat hanger might not be stiff enough.
